Welcome to Killarney Swimming Club!
Our aim is to ensure that swimming becomes a positive and enriching experience for your family. We are dedicated to creating a competitive age group swim club that not only enhances swimming skills but also fosters positive personal qualities through instruction, training, and competition.
The Club is open to children and young people of all ages and varied abilities in a positive team environment.
Our swim season runs from the start of September to June.
We have approximately 65 members from ages 8 to 18 and offer a number of tryouts throughout the year.
KSC was established in 2012 and is currently based at the Killarney Sports and Leisure Centre, By-Pass Road, Killarney, County Kerry. Applicants and members do not have to be a member of the Leisure Centre to be a member of the club.
Our club is affiliated to Swim Ireland and is subject to the laws, rules and constitutions of:
- Swim Ireland, the governing body for the whole of the island of Ireland.
- Ligue Européenne de Natation (LEN), the European governing body for the aquatics.
- World Aquatics (previously FINA), the world governing body for the aquatics.
